All of my sisters, sister-in-laws, and my Mother went to NYC for a couple of days of fun. Fun doesn't really describe it, We had a BLAST. I took over 300 pictures. There were so many of us, each having a camera, that is was easier to just take pictures of someone else then exchange pictures when we got home. These are some of the pictures that my sister, Krista, took of me. I will definitely post more soon. Highlights of the trip were: Wicked, Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, World Trade Center Site, Riding the Subways, Rockafeller Center/Top of the Rock, Today Show with Jason Mraz Concert, Carlos Bakery, Central Park, China Town/Canal Street, Manhattan Temple. The list goes on and on. One of the not so fun things that happened was the over $500 in cash that was stolen from my wallet. It fell out of my purse while at Wicked. During the show I reached down to get a treat out to snack on and my wallet must have fallen out. I didn't have much leg room so I put my feet under the seat in front of me. I felt something that I thought the purse of the person in front of me so I took my foot and kind of pushed it aside so I would have more room. (Yep, It was MY Wallet but didn't realize it at the time). About 10 minutes after we left the Theatre I realized it wasn't in my bag. I ran back and they let me back in to check under the seats. It wasn't there. They told me that I would have to come back at 10:00 the next morning to have someone let me into Lost And Found. I hurried and called my bank and had my Card cancelled and Checking frozen. Well, I went back the next morning and got my wallet back but some $#%&*$ person took all my cash and my Subway Card/Metro Card (Pass to use the Subway, Subway meaning under ground train, not my subway card meaning Subway Sandwiches.) It really put a damper on things. Lots and Lots and Lots of tears were shed, but I have the absolute BEST family in the World, they took care of me the rest of our trip. Thank you so much Mom, Laurel, Krista, Emily, Emma and Chelsea. You are truly amazing women.
Thank you Conan and Laurel for a wonderful vacation. Can't wait till the next one :)
